While we offer our composites in a factory finish, there are many applications that will be better to be field finished after installation. We offer our complete line of materials in a primer gelcoat finish. Typically these are parts that will be painted with the entire structure or individually once installed to achieve a consistentand universal finish.
All the primer finish FRP products carry the same high physical properties as the finished version, but are usually less expensive. Given the installation process and the requirement to field finish the adjacent area, unfinished product can be a very attractive alternative in meeting budget requirements. We have detailed instructions on finishing our entire product, but the painting contractor is likely to use the same system as the rest of the project.
