Our woodgrain GFRCnext is an integrally cast-in texture used to simulate wood in any of our composite materials such as FRP. These decorative woodgrain products are versatile and easy to install, and may be the answer to your projects demanding schedule. This material is a class 1 fire rated material that will outperform wood. It will not rot, check, split or peel when exposed to the weather, especially in coastal areas.
We manufacture the item out of wood to become a master for our mold. We can, therefore, make the cast version with an identical grain pattern, including knots if desired, on the final parts. The results are visually and functionally superior to natural wood. Typical applications are wood beams, rafter tails, corbels, trellis beams and heavy timber beams. All parts can be field painted or stained to meet the desired wood look.
