Our woodgrain GRG has an integrally cast-in texture to simulate wood. Since it is a cast product, we can do highly detailed wood pieces with exposed grain very cost effectively. These decorative woodgrain products are versatile and easy to install and may be the answer to your projects demanding schedule. This material is a non-combustible product that is visually unperceivable from wood, but far easier to install. The only limitation is that in needs to be used inside and should be repetitive to make the cost per unit less.
We actually manufacture the item out of wood to become a master for our mold. We can, therefore, make the cast version with an identical grain pattern, including knots if desired, on the final parts. The results are visually and functionally superior to natural wood. Typical applications are wood beams, rafter tails, corbels, trellis beams and heavy timber beams. All parts are available finished or stained or unfinished for field paint or stain.
