GFRCnext is the next generation of GFRC that combines the physical attributes with a more forgiving reinforced cement product. We have formulated a plain gray GFRC that has a high polymer load combined with glass reinforcement that has the same impact resistance as GFRC but a higher flexural strength. The result is a product that looks and feels like GFRC, but cuts cleaner, finishes smoother and has more flexibility in installation than traditional GFRC. It is still a non-combustible rated product for wide use in commercial and residential construction. This next step in GFRC allows the material to be more user friendly when fitting tight conditions or when performing job site repairs. It patches and finishes very easily due to the polymers that reduce the porosity of the surface. Installers and architects agree that the easier installation and superior surface quality yield a much better end result that will keep them from ever going back to GFRC.
