More Details About Project It is not unusual to have an architect frustrated by the conflict between his design intent and the actual cost for producing that design. One of the areas that composites has distinguished themselves is bridging the gap between the cost of building ornamentation and the cost of composites. While composite materials are not the answer for all applications, they can be used to address the problems many traditional materials run into when they are detailed or complex configurations or large in size. In this project, Cornicestone was used to do the elements that were detailed, bulky, or too ornate to be produced in a traditional stone product. The critical performance factor was for us to match the cast stone finish so that the building appears to be seamless and all constructed of the same product. The photo indicates that we were successful and the budget agrees.
