More Details About Project DEC supplied the large brackets and rafter tails for this project. Originally the brackets were going to be fabricated out of metal. The cost for these large assemblies was very high so the customer approached us with the problem. Given the repetitive nature of the bracket and the desire for a maintenance free product, FRP was a very good alternative. After developing pricing and a sample, the customer was so pleased that we were asked to supply the rafter tails in FRP as well.
