More Details About Project This project requirements included a non-combustible material that appeared to be wood but was lightweight. Given our many years of experience with false beams and rafter tails, we were able to develop a system that met those objectives, but also integrated a system of beams and supports, some of which were used to conceal the roof drainpipes. The results were so successful that we replaced most of the rafter tails on the out buildings of the project in addition to the resort. They then expanded our role further to include a basket weave privacy screen between guest rooms. These two sided screens were factory assembled so that they could be installed in a single move. So DEC was able to offer a product solution for the project as well as engineer it to save the customer additional money during the installation.
