More Details About Project Cornicestone was used on the large cornice section and parapet panels for the building that wraps the perimeter, as well as the lower entry cornice and signage panels. The cornices and parapet panels were fabricated with factory made corners so the install required butting of straight sections only. Cornicestone was selected because of its ability to match the cast stone material on the project but in a large cut shape needed for the various profiles. Due to the lightweight nature of Cornicestone, the contractor was able to install it using light gauge framing versus structural members required for stone or GFRC. The final result speaks for itself where it appears to be all cast stone with the attractive and substantial appearance the architect intended for the building.
