More Details About Project Echo-Stone was developed to bridge the gap between GFRC and cast stone. Many projects require that the cast stone form large cornices or detailed dentils which are very expensive to produce and support, but cast stone offers the only alternative for a fine finished product. GFRC has the ability to be made into larger forms, but either the finish is plain or it is too expensive to be feasible. Echo-Stone fill this gap by offering a finished stone look that can be cast into very difficult shapes and sizes such as cornices and columns. This project spotlights the quality of finish of our product and the desirability of large stone shapes on a building on a historical campus. We helped our client to use modern construction techniques to achieve classic design on a building with a product designed to last for decades.
